We measure river and sea levels across England and Wales by collecting data from our monitoring stations along the rivers and the coast.
Service of legal documents
If you propose to serve a judicial review pre-action letter or claim form on the Environment Agency, please ensure it is sent to Head Office Legal Services. Contact details for further service or correspondence will be confirmed in our letter of response or Acknowledgement of Service.
For all other legal documents, if you already have a named contact within our Legal Services, please send documents direct to that lawyer. If you do not, where your document relates to a specific Region please send it to the appropriate Regional Legal department, marked for the attention of the Regional Solicitor. In all other cases, and for legal documents relating to our National Permitting Service, please send to Head Office Legal Services.
